Barn House Orton Cumbria B&B
Barn House Orton. Bed and breakfast accommodation in Cumbria
The Barn House Orton bed and breakfast accommodationWelcome

the barn house offers a peaceful and relaxing
bed and breakfast accommodation for walkers, cyclists and
motorists and for those of you wishing to explore the
district.

For walkers The Coast to Coast path, the route
originally conceived by AW Wainwright, for cyclists the
Walney to Wear route 20, the SusTrans national route
62, all pass by at the end of the drive.

There is lots of parking space available for those of you arriving by car. For those arriving on your bikes, we have ample secure lock-up facilities.

You are guaranteed a welcome after four in the afternoon. Before that we could just be out on the fells ourselves! But call by if you are early as someone might just be at home. If you intend arriving after 6.30pm, do please give us a call so that we can ensure we are at home to greet you.

Having walked the fells ourselves we know that at the end of a day, muddied and (sometimes) wet a drying room is a must, so the barn house has a large drying room for boots and walking clothes.
We can take care of your laundry for a small fee.
